Engagement Process

There is no such thing as a typical assignment, all of our clients are different and therefore we tailor every assignment to your needs.

We assign one of our Consultants to be your Virtual IT Director, this is done in conjunction with you so that we match the skills of the individual with your needs. The Virtual IT Director leads the assignment but is able to draw on all of the skills and resource within Itica, thus you will benefit from a wider range of skills and expertise than would be available from just one person.

The Virtual IT Director will initially spend time on site with you and will use a structured yet simple process to create a work plan that includes:

The work plan forms the basis of Itica’s deliverables to you and effectively represents the Virtual IT Director's “job description”. The work plan will include details of the way communication will occur with you and what reporting will be performed.

Having established the current position, secured mutual agreement to the priorities for IT and a timetable or budget to address them, the Virtual IT Director will begin implementation of the work plan.

Once the work plan is agreed, the Virtual IT Director will typically spend between one day and four days a month on site and is also available via phone and email at other times during the month.

The Virtual IT Director keeps the work plan under constant review and will agree changes with you if circumstances dictate. These changes will of course be documented to ensure you are clear at all times as to the agreed work plan.
